9/11 anniversary- serving homeless community in DC

You may be wondering how is US capital doing on the eve of September 11th anniversary. I got the impression that media are much more concerned with possible terrorist attacks than Americans are. There are some precautionary measures taken on the Hill, in the metro and parking places, but other than that, life goes on its usuall pace.

I had a pleasure today to volunteer at the community service dinner for the homeless organized by Youth Service Opportunity Projects. YSOP service dinners are great chance to cook, serve meal and have a chat with homeless community here in DC.

On my way to YSOP I ran into Canadian Embassy.

Also I passed by News Musem, which is on of the most amazing museum that exists. Every day, in front of the building, there are numbers of front pages of newspapers from all over the world.
