Professor Weaver, who teaches us "Comparative Public Policy" this fall, invited our group for a movie "To Live" to watch at the GPPI student lounge. The movie depicts a story of a family in China between 1940s-1960s struggling their way through Revolution. The movie won acting awards in Cannes.
Having been fed with "communist theme" since childhood, I was not particularly surprised by the content of the movie. However the discussion afterwards, expecially in the participation of our Chinese fellow student, turned out to be interessting:). Next Sunday, next movie!
