Around the campus

I promised there will be pictures coming, and here they are...a short trip around the campus. It's not complete, I will go back to it, but I just wanted to give you an idea of what Georgetown University/GPPI look like, especially during the welcoming week.

Healy Hall: the heart of the GU campus, houses classrooms and academic offices. In front statue of Georgetown's founder, Archbishop Carroll.

White- Gravenor: the land of undergraduates. On the pic: undergrad students celebrating welcome week at GU and Jack the Bulldog, Georgetown HOYAS mascot:)

GPPI- Georgetown Public Policy Institute, where I spend most of my time

The Quadrangle: picturesque courtyard, usually filled with GPPI students. On the pic: Old North housing GPPI
Inside of Old North- GPPI student lounge

Old North- Conference Room

 Old North interiors

Basement-crucial place for all GPPI-ers. We have a computer lab there and lockers :)

University bookstore- where all the goodies come from

American universities are crazy about community spirit. One way of creating a feeling of community is through common colors (grey & navy blue for GU) & greeting (HOYA SAXA). If you already have that, you need to make sure every student shows it off :)

If, somewhere between Quant 2,modules, internships, career fair & shopping you manage to find your second half, this is where you might be heading to...J
